Couture Fashion Week: A Round Up
Couture fashion week is the essence of glamorous fashion. Stereotypically it’s when designers put together their most showy, extravagant and Disney princess style dresses, hence why we love it! Here’s our round-up of our favourite shows.
Probably our favourite show, Elie Saab bought us the most beautifully feminine designs. With sheer fabrics, embellishments and even feathers this collection was a every girls desire.
A designer you may not have heard of but wow did his collection make an impression. If you like Elie Saab, you’ll love this…
A more modern take on couture, Christian Dior bought us plastic capes, latex boots and Seventies inspired Ziggy Stardust aesthetics. Watch out for the cut out designs, a-line shapes and perspex heels, bound to make an impact next season.
Another collection that took on a modern twist on couture was Versace. Primary colours took on swirling cut out designs and asymmetrical tailoring.
No fashion week is complete these days without an appearance from Kendall Jenner, not that we’re complaining! This week she rocked it for Chanel in a sheer crop top ensemble.
