MFW: A Round Up
Fashion week season is almost over & we’ve had an amazing fill of statement style inspiration. Milan brings us a twist on classic fashion but also the complete opposite – Moschino. Check out our favourite shows…
Dolce & Gabbana
Our favourite show at Milan Fashion Week has to be the incredible D&G. Every year the collection brings us a beautiful twist on traditional Sicilian fashion. This year the A/W15 collection consisted of child drawn details, embellished headphones and even babies!
The Fendi show bought us structured leather designs, a rejuvenation of the puffer jacket and crucially Kendall Jenner. Although Kendall was ill for the second half of Milan Fashion Week thankfully she made appearances at Fendi and No. 21. PRAISE THE FASHION GODS!
The other fashion darling of the moment and Kendall’s BFF, Gigi Hadid, made a stunning appearance at several MFW shows, including MaxMara. The A/W15 show focused on a muted palette and oversized styling.
There was a floral explosion at the Giamba A/W15 show. The cutting edge collection gave us a lesson in how to wear florals in winter; style with fur, high boots or Gothic belt detailing.
Moschino always stands out from other collections, and this season it was no exception! Colour pop garments, puffer jackets and cartoon prints took centre stage. But would you incorporate Moschino style pieces into your daily wardrobe?
Fashion giant Prada showcased beautifully feminine designs at MFW. Perfectly described as a ‘futuristic take on the 1960s’ the collection depicted a sickly sweet housewife aesthetic. We loved it!
