NYFW: A Round Up
Fashion week season is finally here! Bring on models on cobbles, FROW fashionistas and a LOT of Kendall Jenner!
Last week we saw fashion week kick off in the Big Apple, home to America’s New York Fashion Week. Here’s our round up of our favourite NYFW collections.
Bohemian prints, Seventies styling and old-school Woodstock vibes ruled the runway at Anna Sui and we couldn’t be happier. This means one of our favourite trends is back for AW15 and SS15. Bring on the Bohemia!
Lesser known designer Tory Burch also bought us bohemian vibes. Think aztec prints, Seventies scarf’s and fabric mixing.
We always knew NYFW would be taken over by people asking ‘will Kendall walk?’ But what we didn’t expect was that she’d walk for a whopping SIX SHOWS! Kendall rocked it for Oscar de la Renta, Michael Kors, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Donna Karen, Diane Von Furstenberg and Alexander Wang. She’s well and truly firmly fixed in the fashion industry now.
One of our favourite KJ Katwalk looks (get it?) was her Michael Kors turquoise fur ensemble. Another of our favourite shows, Michael Kors bought us war-time chic and an all star line up. We saw appearances from not only Kendall, but also her BFF Gigi Hadid, doll face Lindsey Wixson and a fierce closure from Karlie Kloss.
Our stand collection comes from designer duo Rodarte. The sisters are relatively unknown considering they’ve been in the biz for 10 years now. We loved the statements sequins, luxury leather and lavish fur detailing.
